WeatherMind is an AI-powered weather application that combines live forecasts, smart lifestyle guidance, on-device multimodal AI, sky photo analysis, dynamic weather wallpapers, and home-screen widgets to help you understand the weather and plan your day.

APPIFUN (hereinafter referred to as "we" or "the Company") operates the WeatherMind mobile application (hereinafter referred to as "the App"). With your permission, the App may access your approximate or precise location to provide local weather forecasts, severe-weather alerts, and location-based widgets. You can manage location permission in iOS Settings at any time. If location access is denied, you may still manually search for and save cities.
When you use sky photo analysis or other local AI features, WeatherMind may process images and prompts on your device using the downloadable MiniCPM-V 4.6 model and related on-device inference components (such as llama.cpp). Unless you explicitly submit feedback or otherwise choose to share content, such visual data remains on your device.
We always adhere to the principle of data minimization, collecting only the information necessary to provide corresponding functions. For PIPL (China users), we ensure collection is lawful, legitimate, necessary, and transparent; for GDPR (EU/EEA users), processing is based on your consent or legitimate interests; for CCPA/CPRA (California residents), we do not sell personal information.

Purpose: Fetch weather, charts, widgets, and severe-weather alerts for your current area.
Control: You can disable location access at any time in iOS Settings. Manual city search remains available.

Purpose: Save weather wallpapers to your library.

Purpose: Convert your speech into text for AI chat using Apple's Speech framework.
Control: Requested only when you initiate voice input.
Purpose: Retrieve weather data, download wallpaper packs and local AI model files, submit feedback, and check for app-related network content.
WeatherMind only requests permissions necessary for the features you choose to use. We do not request unrelated permissions such as contacts, calendars, or Bluetooth access.
All permission usage is intended to improve user experience and provide core features, and strictly complies with this Privacy Policy.
Network Security: Weather and feedback requests are transmitted over HTTPS where supported. Some internal service endpoints may use HTTP in controlled environments; we avoid transmitting unnecessary personally identifiable information over insecure channels.
